BK Yacht Design – HDPE Boat Plans – Terms of Use

1. License and Usage Rights

Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to build one (1) boat using the provided HDPE boat plans. This license grants you the right for personal use only and does not allow for commercial reproduction.

2. Additional Builds

The price paid for the boat plans applies exclusively to the construction of a single boat. Each additional boat requires the purchase of a separate license, with a flat fee of 500 euros per additional boat as a royalty. You must notify BK Yacht Design and make the royalty payment before starting construction of any subsequent boat.

3. Modification Policy

  • Minor modifications to the plans for personal use are permitted. Still, it should be notified to us.
  • Significant changes to the boat plans require prior written consent from BK Yacht Design.

4. Ownership and Intellectual Property

All plans, drawings, and documents provided remain the intellectual property of BK Yacht Design. Redistribution, resale, or sharing of the HDPE boat plans, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited.

5. Technical Support

  • Technical support is available via email for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Support is strictly limited to explaining the details and specifications of the purchased plans and construction details as outlined in the plans.
  • BK Yacht Design does not offer support or guidance for the general boat-building process or any construction activities unrelated to the provided plans.
  • Misuse of technical support services, including requests for unrelated boat-building advice, may result in the termination of support services without a refund.

6. No Refund Policy

All sales of HDPE boat plans are final. Due to the nature of digital goods and intellectual property, BK Yacht Design does not offer refunds once the plans have been purchased and delivered.

7. Warranty and Liability

The plans are provided “as is” without any warranties, express or implied. BK Yacht Design is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or claims arising from the use or construction of the boat based on the provided plans. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the construction process complies with all relevant safety standards, regulations, and best practices.

8. Modification of Terms

BK Yacht Design reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the plans after any modifications will constitute acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising from the use of the plans shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Italy.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing and using our HDPE boat plans, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use in full.
